”Our Garden room accommodation was excellent, we felt right at home. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was so very well appointed, easy to enjoy. Everything and more to than we expected. Also Kathy was very friendly and helpful, she saw to all our needs. Breakfasts were delicious and I m sure it catered for all guests appetites. Our stay was amazing and hope we can return again soon.

”The 'Garden Cottage' is a suite, so luxurious and spacious. More like an apartment than a room. The comfort and attention to detail at Rivulet is elevated. Coffee, chocolates, port, luxurious linens, very spacious bathroom with heated floors. Amazing breakfast spread and overall service.
”Great location with free car parking. Rooms are large, clean with comfy bed, high quality linens and bathroom provisions. An excellent breakfast in the morning. Great tea and coffee with biscuits available also a glass of port and chocolates.
”Robert was a gracious host, remembering my morning coffee without prompting. Breakfast choices were plentiful and scrumptious. The addition of an evening port in the sitting room was an elevated touch. The house is just beautiful. The antiques and heritage touches really added to the boutique yet home-like atmosphere.
”Everything. This is our ‘go to place’. If gives us every thing we need. Comfortable king size beds and we enjoy the atmosphere of this lovely home which allow us to feel perfectly relaxed. Delicious continental breakfast at a communal table makes for an interesting and enjoyable stay. Complimentary port and chocolates after a dinner out to finish off the day. ”A beautifully renovated spot with luxurious beds and lovely rooms. Very attentive breakfast staff and excellent breakfast, easy parking and checking in and out. Enjoyed chatting to other guests at the breakfast table too. The road is very busy but sound wasn’t such an issue and once you master the in and out driveways it was very easy.
”We have stayed at this property on many occasions. The property is beautifully renovated, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are exceptionally clean. There are little extras such as chocolates and port in the dining area and jugs of water in the rooms. The breakfast is an added bonus. The staff member was extra attentive on this visit, which was greatly appreciated.
”We stayed in the Flynn 1909 Suite. A lovely room with a very comfortable bed, great bath and shower, kettle, cups, and even glasses. The buffet breakfast is exceptional with great breads, cheese, cold meat, salmon and lots of fruit to choose from. Both the verandah and garden give plenty of space for sitting outdoors in good weather. Great to have parking and the location is also good for walking in to the centre of Hobart or catching a bus. Everything was excellent but the very best was Denise who looked after us throughout our stay - friendly, helpful and welcoming
