The name Waratah is chosen for two reasons. Firstly after one of the species of the beautiful Waratah flower which is endemic to Tasmania. Secondly after the small town of Waratah which lies in the heart of the Tarkine, the magnificent temperate rainforest inn the North West of the island.

This spacious cottage situate in our Gardens was built 75 years ago and was rebuilt and refurbished in 2020. It is fully self contained with outside courtyard.

It features large bedroom with King Bed, separate dressing room / luggage storage, open plan living/dining, comfortable sofas, French oak dining table, campaign style desk and plantation shutters. As with all our rooms it contains new stand alone Air Conditioning and new Smart TV.
